Loboloup design studio specializes in stylish and distinct hand-made wallpaper. Our patterns are intended as rich background canvas that highlights rather than overpowers furniture, pictures, and beloved objects. The sumptuous tactile nature of the papers is obtained by using traditional hand-screening methods, non-toxic water-based inks and sustainable paper.

Each Loboloup pattern is designed by Nancy Wolff, whose award-winning designs and illustrations have appeared on virtually every imaginable surface. After starting her career as a textile designer, Nancy’s work was adopted by a wide range of leading designers and manufacturers. It was at this time that she began the experiments with color and texture that would result in her signature style. By combining pattern and texture with a bit of the unexpected, she has created some of the most sought after and distinctive designs of the day. Her work has been displayed at New York’s Cooper Hewitt Museum and included in the Society of Illustrators Original Art.

Loboloup wallpapers are manufactured locally in the New York City area. Motivated by a desire to rethink what wallpaper should look like, our aim is to make the planet a more beautiful place, one wall at a time.

Loboloup wallpaper is in the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Museum.
